Mostra Italian New Wave
La mostra Italian New Wave ad Abitare il Tempo 2007 ospita i progetti degli studenti realizzati nel Corso di laurea in disegno industriale di Palermo sul tema Design e territorio.
L’uso del cartone nell’allestimento nasce dall’idea di depositare, “ in attesa”, i progetti fino al loro ingresso sul mercato all’interno di imballaggi in cartone. L’allestimento era interamente in scatole di cartone riciclato, di dimensioni modulari, che costuiscono le due pareti da cui emergono i volumi su cui poggiano gli oggetti. Anche l’illuminazione puntiforme è garantita da corpi luminosi contenuti in scatole di cartone che come paralumi, schermano la luce.

The Exhibition Italian New Wave in Abitare il tempo 2007 shows several projects made by students during the Course of Industrial Design in Palermo about theme Design and territory.
The use of cardboard packing to realize the exhibition, arises from idea to deposit, “in suspense”, the projects since their entry in the market, protected inside cardboard packing.
The exhibition project is made entirely with recycled cardboard box, with modular dimensions, that made two parallel walls. These walls have irregular surfaces, with volumes that stick out and became support for the showed objects. Also the punctual illumination is guaranteed by bright lamp with cold light, suspended in the space and contained in cardboard box that like lampshade to shield artificial light.
The project is made by Cinzia Ferrara, Francesco Librizzi, Vittorio Venezia.
