Angelica Gerosa_ Costruzioni in cartapesta_
Tutto ciò che creo è essenzialmente fatto di carta, così anche le sculture in cartapesta che rappresentano una parte molto libera e divertente del mio lavoro.
Per realizzare oggetti, animali o personaggi parto da una struttura di base fatta in cartapesta,
che poi modifico, usando tecniche miste e materiali diversi, che trovo intorno a me.
Io le chiamo “costruzioni”, perché si tratta di progettare, ragionare e andare per stadi.
All the things I create are essentially made with paper, so are the sculptures in papier-mache, which represent a very free and fun part of my job.
To create objects, animals or human characters I start from a structure made with papier-mache, then I modify it using mixed techniques and different material, which I found around me. I call them “constructions” because I begin with a project and go on thinking and working step by step.
