Il cartone, viene utilizzato non solo per l’aspetto del recupero del materiale, ma anche perché conserva in sè una componente speciale: il tempo.
Il processo temporale nel quale viene coinvolto il materiale, non si sofferma meramente alla fase pittorica, ma è già parte integrante nel processo artistico in quanto selezionato, analizzato, scomposto, dipinto e infine ricomposto.

The precariousness of cardboard, the fragility that accompanies this material in its true use, can metaphorically be compared to the very provisional nature of man.

The temporal process in which the material is involved does not merely focus on the pictorial phase, but is already an integral part of the artistic process as it is selected, analyzed, broken down, painted and finally reassembled.
