Non uso forbici, colla o nastro adesivo, “semplicemente”, piego i fogli di carta con i quali realizzo le mie creazioni secondo le tecniche dell’origami, antica arte giapponese di piegare la carta.Con pagine di vecchi romanzi, libri illustrati, giornali
e riviste do vita a un mondo,per me, allegro e colorato, fatto di fiori, libellule, passerotti, stelle, trottole... «Marigami», è la sintesi delle mie passioni: la carta, l’origami e la decorazione
a pennello e punta di china.  Sono attratta soprattutto dai colori e dalla texture di
quella stampata, da sempre colleziono fogli e pagine che prendo ovunque, anche nella libreria di casa non c’è libro che non sia stato saccheggiato.Decoro i fogli secondo l’ispirazione del momento con greche, pois o grafismi, che così diventano le carte da squadrare con la taglierina per creare piccole sculture, che, impreziosite da perline di vetro
o legno e cordini colorati di cotone, si fanno oggetti gioiosi da mettere«felicemente al posto giusto». 

I do not use scissors, glue, or tape, but instead I simply fold sheets of paper using the techniques of origami, the ancient Japanese art of paper folding, to create my creations. With pages from old novels, illustrated books, newspapers, and magazines, I bring to life a world that is cheerful and colorful, full of flowers, dragonflies, sparrows, stars and spinning tops. "Marigami" is the synthesis of my passions: paper, origami, and brush and ink decoration. I am particularly drawn to the colors and textures of printed paper, and I have been collecting sheets and pages wherever I can find them. Even the books in my home library have not been spared. I decorate the sheets according to the inspiration of the moment with borders, dots, or graphics, which then become the paper squared with a cutter to create small sculptures. These sculptures are embellished with glass or wooden beads and colored cotton cords to become joyful objects to be placed "happily in the right place."
