Il progetto KIMOSHI nasce dalla passione per la carta, nata in particolare con l’approccio all’arte della calligrafia giapponese lo “shodo” e all’utilizzo della carta, il washi, sulla quale
vengono impressi questi simboli.
“La carta è un oggetto vivo che viene dalla natura e che della natura conserva una vita
remota”.
Kimoshi è un brand di borse realizzate con carta Kraft e il suo nome può essere scomposto
in due parole Kimo che deriva da Kimono (in giapponese qualcosa da indossare) e shi
(in giapponese carta). Quindi carta da indossare, da trasportare, da portare con se in
ogni occasione, data la sua strana forma, che permette al cliente di avere più soluzioni in
un’unica borsa. Kimoshi infatti può essere zaino, pochette o borsa pronta per soddisfare
qualsiasi tua esperienza. Era importante scegliere con cura i materiali che accompagnano
la carta. Quindi trattamenti con colla naturale e rivestimenti interni con salpa (scarti
di pelle e cuoio).
