No Smoking The Future
“Il ciclo produttivo di No Smoking The Future non rilascia nell’ambiente sottoprodotti nocivi, ma solo nutrimenti naturali facilmente riciclabili dalla biosfera o dalla tecno-sfera. Ha un impatto positivo sull’ambiente invece di uno meno negativo. Nessun albero viene tagliato di proposito per la produzione dei mobili, in modo che sia le materie prime che i prodotti finiti sono ecologici al 100%”.

Il ritorno a un ciclo progettuale naturale, a zero rifiuti, in continua evoluzione, è il principio centrale alla base del marchio No Smoking The Future fondato da Andrea Epifani. Situato a Lecce, il processo produttivo del marchio si basa su un sistema di riciclo di carta naturale certificata Cradle to Cradle© da scarti tipografici che si trasforma in un guscio strutturale robusto ma leggero.
Eticamente integrati con la natura, questi pezzi originali combinano design e scultura, integrando la leggerezza, l'estetica e il colore degli iconici design in plastica degli anni '70 con l’energia del fatto a mano per un tocco innovativo alla tradizione industriale italiana.
No Smoking (giacca) allude all'informalità di un uomo che cerca il suo modo di essere, senza rifiutare la società da cui proviene ma, invece, facendo il passo successivo verso il Futuro.

Returning to a natural, zero-waste design cycle in constant evolution is the central principle behind the No Smoking brand founded by Andrea Epifani. Located in Lecce, the brand’s manufacturing process is based on a recycling of natural paper from typographical waste which transforms into a sturdy yet lightweight structural shell. Ethically integrated with nature, these original pieces combine design and sculpture, integrating the lightness, aesthetics, and color of the iconic 1970s plastic designs with the energy of handmade for an innovative touch to Italian industrial tradition.
