Nuovi standard ISO per packaging e ambiente

I nuovi standard ISO per il packgaing e l'ambiente verranno rilasciati ad Ottobre 2012, a seguito dell'approvazione finale del testo avvenuta a Seoul il 24 Marzo 2012 da parte del Gruppo di lavoro ISO TC 122/SC 4, nel quale l'Italia è rappresentata da Comieco.

Queste norme intendono armonizzare gli aspetti ambientali del packaging e riprendono a livello internazionale  le norme europee sui requisiti essenziali degli imballaggi.

In particolare saranno rilasciate le seguenti norme:
1.    ISO 18601 Packaging and the environment - General requirements for the use of ISO standards in the field of packaging and the environment
2.    ISO 18602 Packaging and the environment - Optimization of the packaging system
3.    ISO 18603 Packaging and the environment - Reuse
4.    ISO 18604 Packaging and the environment - Material recycling
5.    ISO 18605 Packaging and the environment - Energy recovery
6.    ISO 18606 Packaging and the environment - Organic recycling

e i Technical Report:
1.    ISO/TR 16218 Packaging and the environment - Chemical recovery
2.    ISO/TR 17098 Packaging material recycling -  material recycling - Report on substances and materials which may impede re cycling.
