Nuovi standard per il packaging design

Sono state recentemente pubblicate le norme ISO Packaging and Environment (ISO 18601-18606) che riprendono a livello internazionale le norme europee sui requisiti essenziali degli imballaggi.
Ogni azienda che confeziona i suoi prodotti, dall'elettronica per l'industria alimentare, ora può utilizzare gli stessi criteri riconosciuti indipendentemente dal luogo di produzione.

Sono presi in considerazione negli standard tutti gli aspetti ambientali che rientrano nella progettazione del packaging, dal materiale utilizzato al potenziale riuso e riciclo.
In particolare sono state rilasciate le seguenti norme:
1.    ISO 18601 Packaging and the environment - General requirements for the use of ISO standards in the field of packaging and the environment
2.    ISO 18602 Packaging and the environment - Optimization of the packaging system
3.    ISO 18603 Packaging and the environment - Reuse
4.    ISO 18604 Packaging and the environment - Material recycling
5.    ISO 18605 Packaging and the environment - Energy recovery
6.    ISO 18606 Packaging and the environment - Organic recycling
